BRYSON OUT TO SPOIL KEANE`S DAY AGAIN

Kilmarnock midfielder Craig Bryson has warned Celtic's newest Keano that he is ready to sabotage the Hoops' Scottish Cup hopes again.

In January 2006, Bryson scored the opening goal as Clyde recorded a memorable 2-1 cup victory at Broadwood as Roy Keane pulled on a Celtic jersey for the first time.

Last month the midfielder helped Kilmarnock shock Tony Mowbray's side with a 1-0 win at Rugby Park - ensuring Robbie Keane suffered a similarly miserable debut following his loan move from Tottenham.

Celtic are 13 points behind Rangers at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and looking to the Active Nation Scottish Cup as their only realistic hope of silverware this season but Bryson is relishing the opportunity to add to his list of triumphs.

"When Celtic came to Clyde nobody gave us a chance," the 23-year-old told 110sport.tv.

"In the week leading up to the match all the talk was about Roy Keane making his debut.

"I don't think anybody expected Clyde to get a result - but we always believed we had a chance and on the day we actually won pretty comfortably.

"It was superb getting a goal and being part of it all and it's certainly a day I will never forget.

"The same happened when Robbie Keane made his debut and again the underdog came out on top."

"But playing against Celtic is always extremely difficult and it certainly will be no different on Saturday," added the former Scotland under-21 player.

"I reckon the fact that they are already out of one cup and look unlikely to win the league will make them more dangerous - the pressure is on them.

"For us the cup is a bonus, our main priority has to be ensuring that we stay in the SPL.

"In saying that, it will be nice to get a break from the league and we will be doing all we can to get a result."

Bryson looks set for a return to action on Saturday after a lay-off with a hamstring injury and the 23-year-old is looking forward to getting back on the pitch.

"It is hard not being involved, you always want to be out there playing so it can be frustrating to be sitting in the stand - especially during important matches," he said.

"We had been on a bit of a run but now have lost three on the bounce so we have to pick ourselves up and the game on Saturday gives us another chance to do that."
