Henyekane: We want the cup

Golden Arrows striker Richard Henyekane is confident they will finish Ajax Cape Town in regulation time when they come up against each other in the MTN 8 Cup final to be played at Orlando Stadium.

The Durban outfit will be playing in their first major cup final after ousting Free State Stars and AmaZulu.

Henyekane told the PSL's official website: "Every match is a must win for us. We approach every game with the aim to win, I mean what other approach is there?

"But yes the prize is a big motivating factor and playing in a final too is a dream come true for all of us. We want this club to be successful and we are on the path to glory.

"This game will be over in 90 minutes. We are going all out."

The 'Kimberley Express' has been in fine form in the cup but has warned the Urban Warriors it would be wrong to only keep an eye on him.

He continued: "I am always marked closely but I am used to it. Its part of the game and it forces me to up my game you know. Being quick is not all, I have to be smarter so that I can get to the ball before a defender does

"But if Ajax is going to watch me only then they'll be making a mistake. We have very good players in every position and each one of them can do damage."

The Cape Town side defeated Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs to reach the final.

Henyekane admitted Ajax are a good side but warned them that Abafana Bes'thende want the trophy.

"Ajax has very good players too but I don't want to mention names or be too concerned about what they will do. This is a team sport and Golden Arrows wants the trophy, not Richard Henyekane. I am a part of this team," he concluded.
