Bafana Bafana's final World Cup warm-up opponents, Denmark lost their most recent friendly with Australia 1-0 in Roodepoort on Tuesday.

Joshua Kennedy netted the only goal in the 71st-minute to hand victory to the Socceroos at Ruimsig Stadium. Over 2000 witnessed the encounter that was described as a tense, tight game that was settled when Kennedy outmuscled defender Daniel Agger to shot past Danish stopper Stephan Andersen.

Denmark's best chance fell to midfielder Christian Poulsen, but his half-volley was pushed away by Aussie goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.

Denmark coach Morten Olsen added to the controversy surrounding the official World Cup ball, saying in a TV interview: "We played with an impossible ball and we need to get used to it."
