Kaizer Chiefs defender Punch Masenamela admits that the team is delighted to be heading to Namibia for a friendly match.
Amakhosi have a clash set up with Eleven Arrows for Saturday as they gear up for what they hope will be a successful 2010/11 campaign.
With pre-season well underway, Masenamela and his team-mates are ready to show head coach Vladimir Vermezovic and his staff exactly what they can expect from them in the new season.
"We have all been working hard since reporting back for the pre-season early this month and the game in Namibia will give the technical team an opportunity to see what we can offer this season," he told the club's website.
"I am sure we are going to learn a lot the same as we have done over the years during Vodacom Challenge. Players in Namibia will of course come with different style and we looking forward to that challenge.
"The bigger challenge for us though is to win the league this season. People saw how players from Spain celebrated after winning the World Cup and they are now legends in their own right.
"Winning the league is not coming close to that but I would want to experience that kind of winning feeling and we can achieve our goal to win the league this season."
Meanwhile, Gerald Sibeko is back in training and is expected to join his team-mates on the plane to Namibia later this week.
Chiefs have also confirmed defender Thabang Rooi's return to training following a knee injury.
The 26-year-old picked up a niggle to his right knee in April, but is now undergoing light workout sessions with physio Dave Milner, George Lebese and David Mathebula.
