Platinum Stars new recruit Ryan Botha has admitted that the players at the club are 'anxious' to discover who the new coach will be.
The position has been vacant since Steve Komphela was relinquished of his duties during the World Cup and the likes of Gordon Igesund, Muhsin Ertugral and former AmaZulu boss Neil Tovey have all been linked with the hotseat.
Last week Tovey confirmed that he was on the brink of becoming the new coach of Stars as he disclosed that he was in talks with the club.
However, Dinaledi have not yet appointed a new mentor despite the start of the PSL season being just around the corner.
"Things are going all right, we are training hard," Botha told Football365.co.za.
"We are waiting to see who the new coach is going to be.
"There has been a lot of names thrown around to be honest and we're just the footballers and you know our job is just to do our job for which ever coach we are playing for.
"I think the guys are getting a bit anxious to see who will be taking over the job because we are coming close to the start of the season now.
"But whoever it is the guys will give 100% committment and do the job we are paid to do."
