PSL number crunching

The Premier Soccer League is just over the halfway mark and Football365.co.za brings you all the stats you need to know.

* So far 9.5% of PSL games have ended in goalless draws.

* 26.4% of all matches have been draws.

* But there's no home-ground advantage in the PSL. There have been 44 away wins compared to 43 home victories so far this season

* Kaizer Chiefs have the best away record. Their six wins and two draws mean they have accumulated 20 points on the road, one more than Ajax Cape Town

* Jomo Cosmos have the worst travelling record. In eight matches away from the Rand Stadium they have drawn three and lost five.

* Orlando Pirates and SuperSport have the joint best home record having notched 18 points in nine matches each.

* Kaizer Chiefs have the league's worst home record with just one win in seven.

* Statistically speaking, SuperSport have the best attack in the PSL. They have bagged 35 goals this term - ten more than second best Mamelodi Sundowns

* The bottom three clubs Free State Stars, Black Aces and Cosmos share the worst goal-scoring stat. In 17 matches they have all found the back of the net a mere 13 times

* Defensively, Santos top the charts as they have shipped just ten goals in their 17 fixtures thus far

* But Pirates are the clean sheet kings with ten meaning they have completed shut-outs in 58.8% of their matches.

* AmaZulu have kept just one clean sheet this season.

* Every time Chiefs have opened the scoring they have gone on to win. This has happened seven times during the current campaign.

* Mamelodi Sundowns have turned around first-half deficits more often than any other club. In four matches they have been losing at the break but on two occasions they have come back to win.
