Ivory Coast face Korea test

Ivory Coast and South Korea will play a friendly match in London on 3rd March as both teams step up their preparations for the World Cup in June.

The Ivorian Football Federation announced the match on Monday, which will take place at Loftus Road and will mean less travelling for both nations' European-based players.

For Ivory Coast, drawn in Group G with Brazil and Portugal and North Korea, the game represents an opportunity to face Asian opposition in the build-up to the South Africa showpiece.

South Korea will meet Argentina, Nigeria and Greece in Group B and head coach, Huh Jung-Moo is keen to face another African powerhouse ahead of the World Cup.

Huh said: "Playing against one of the strongest African teams in England is another great match to prepare for the World Cup."
