21h31 That's it. Matsatsantsa have a firm grip on the PSL trophy as they go 8 points clear at the top of the table. Three in a row is looking like a very strong possibility.

21h29 Only the Chiefs v SuperSport game is still going courtesy of that earlier floodlight failure.

21h24 AmaZulu 2 Platinum Stars 1 Bradley Grobler gets a consolation goal for Platinum Stars just before the final whistle.

21h21 The Celtic v Santos game has ended 1-1 courtesy of that late goal.

21h17 Bloem Celtic 1 Santos 1 Cecil Oersen draws Bloem Celtic level with a well-taken chance. As things stand SuperSport will go 8 points clear at the top of the table.

21h13 Sundowns 2 Orlando Pirates 0 Benedict Vilakazi spreads the ball out wide to Elias Pelembe and makes a run into the box before burying his header against his former club. Pirates look dead and buried.

21h09 Kaizer Chiefs 0 SuperSport Utd 2 Jabu Maluleke collects a superb diagonal ball on the right of the Chiefs penalty area, controls it well and lashes a shot into the far corner.

21h05 AMAZULU 2 PLATINUM STARS 0 Marc Van Heerden finishes off an excellent team move to put his side two goals ahead.

21h05 Kaizer Chiefs 0 SuperSport Utd 1 Glen Salmon has his revenge for his earlier disallowed effort when he expertly turns home Anthony Laffor's superb cross.

21h01 YELLOW Sundowns' Vuyo Mere is rather harshly booked for an innocuous foul.

20h58 AMAZULU 1 PLATINUM STARS 0: Sibusiso Hadebe makes no mistake after some clever work from Petros Zwane.

20h58 The lights have come on again at Loftus so the Chiefs v SuperSport game is back on.

20h54 Moroka Swallows 1 Black Aces 1 Igor Alves equalises for The Dube Birds after picking up a David Radebe pass.

20h54 YELLOW Sundowns' Mungomeni is booked for a late challenge on Jali.

20h50 YELLOW: Another caution for AmaZulu. This time it is Smangaliso Biyela for a foul on Jospeh Malongoane.

20h47 Bloem Celtic 0 Santos 1 The People's team take the lead through Mogogi Gabonamong who strokes the ball home from a Graham King corner.

20h45 Moeneeb Josephs makes a fantastic save to deny Lebohang Mokoena from point blank range and deny Sundowns a second goal.

20h43 Here we go again. The lights have just gone out at Loftus so the game between Chiefs and SuperSport has been halted.

20h40 YELLOW: Aces' Clifford Mulenga booked for a foul on David Radebe.

20h40 Emile Barron makes a good save to deny Siphiwe Tshabalala from a free-kick.

20h38 No goals to report yet. Supersport are still getting the short end of the refereeing stick to Gavin Hunt's very vocal displeasure.

20h34 The second halves get under way one by one.

20h20 HALF TIME All six games have gone into the break. There have been plenty of talking points, some controversy and a few good goals. We'll see you right here for the second stanza.

20h18 SWALLOWS 0 BLACK ACES 1: Nkosinathi Ogle punishes some poor defending from Swallows after receiving a ball from Vusiwe Masondo.

20h18 YELLOW Maritzburg defender Peter Petersen shouts at the referee out of turn and is booked. SuperSport's Bongani Khumalo is booked for a foul on Kaizer Jr and Wits' Subisiso Vilakazi hacks down Thakathi and he gets a booking of his own. The cards are flying in thick and fast everywhere.

20h16 YELLOW Santos' Tony Tsabedze is booked for a foul on Ditheko Mototo while AmaZulu's Warren Bishop also steps out of line and is cautioned.

20h15 YELLOW Double booking for Maritzburg as Bheka Thakathi and Fadlu Davids go into the referee's little notebook

20h15 Gavin Hunt looks like his head is about to explode as he rants at his SuperSport players. He certainly takes the game very seriously.

20h14 YELLOW Matty Pattison is booked for being fouled. He was kicked by a Pirates player and complained to the ref. Not a good idea it seems.

20h10 Still only the three goals this evening but most of the games look like producing some action before long.

20h07 INJURY SuperSport lose Siyabonga Nkosi to injury and he is replaced by Jabulani Maluleke.

20h02 Hannah is back and asks: " How bad is Musona's injury, I hear he is out?" Yes he was replaced by Kaizer Motaung Jr after 8 minutes. I suspect he came into the game carrying an injury.

20h02 Oh dear. Some very dubious refereeing as Glen Salmon heads the ball into Arthur Bartman and into the goal from a corner. After two replays I can't see anything wrong there but the referee disallows the goal. It seems it has become illegal to score against Chiefs.

20h01 YELLOW Kaizer Chiefs' is booked for a foul on Glen Salmon.

19h58 Maritzburg 1 Wits 1 Rudolph Bester applies the finishing touch to a great ball from Byron Hendricks as Maritzburg draw level.

19h55 YELLOW AmaZulu's Siphiwe Mkhonza booked for a rash challenge on Kagiso Senamela.

19h52 Moroka Swallows have been dominating their fixture against Black Aces with Oscar Ramogadi having to make a number of early saves.

19h48 YELLOW AmaZulu goalkeeper Mbongeni Mzimela is shown a yellow card for handling the ball outside of his penalty area.

19h48 The Chiefs midfield is exerting a stranglehold on the game with SuperSport struggling to get hold of the ball. Amakhosi launch a promising attack but Zhaimu Jambo is flagged offside.

19h45 YELLOW Gary Goldstone is booked for a foul on Santos' Eleazar Rodgers

19h45 Sundowns 1 Pirates 0 The Brazilians' early pressure pays off as a free-kick into the box is knocked back across the face of goal to an unmarked Luvhengo Mungomeni who stoops down low and heads past Moeneeb Josephs.

19h44 At the Super Stadium Sundowns have dominated the opening 10 minutes with Pirates struggling to get a foothold in the game.

19h42 YELLOW CARD: Platinum Stars striker Hendrico Botes cautioned for constant fouling. But it is only the fifth minute? That seems a harsh decision.

19h40 Loyal reader Hannah Mabasa writes in: "So no commentary today? Its much interesting for us readers when you keep informing us of the blow by blow. We dont want to be shocked when you tell us of a goal, at least we should either expect it or it be one of those against the run of play type of goals, in which case its a surprise to even those at the stadium." Thanks Hannah, will try and do a bit more than just the goals but it is rather hard watching six games at once.

19h35 Maritzburg 0 Wits 1 The Clever Boys take an early lead as Sifiso Myeni creates space for himself on the edge of the United penalty area before firing home with a stinging effort.

19h33 All the games have now kicked off. Santos almost score a first minute goal, Sundowns are attacking well, SuperSport have most of the possession but there have been no goals scored.

19h30 Good evening and welcome to our clockwatch. With six games on the go at once we're going to focus on the big events, i.e. goals, yellow cards and sendings off instead of distracting you with inane observations. Remember, we like to hear from our readers and will publish e-mails here as we go along so get involved.
