Free State Stars goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene is expecting a tough match when his side takes on Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday at the Boland Stadium.
Ea Lla Koto lost their previous match 1-0 against Bloemfontein Celtic, but Mweene is confident they can regroup after the defeat.
He told the club's official website: "We have put Sunday's loss against Celtic behind our backs and we are looking forward to this afternoon's game. The spirit in the camp is very high, we are very adamant that we will bring home maximum points.
"We are very much aware that Ajax have been doing well in the league and they are not an easy side to beat at home.
"The team is looking forward to this afternoons clash against the high riding Ajax Cape Town team. It is not going to be an easy game especially playing in the Cape, but the good thing is that the match has been moved from an evening game to the afternoon."
Midfielder Kleinbooi Taaibos also shared Mweene's sentiments.
He said: "A win against Ajax will certainly motivate the players ahead of Saturday's game against Mamelodi Sundowns. Ajax have got a few good individual players we respect them as a team, but we certainly not going to show them any respect in the field of play.
"It's not going to be an easy game Ajax lost their last game to Orlando Pirates over the weekend and with the title hopes on the back of their minds they be going all out not to lose another game especially playing at home."
